Lettings are calculated on a weekly basis from 3pm Saturday to 10:30am the following Saturday.
Contact us to check availability of dates and tariff. A deposit of 25% is payable on written confirmation of your booking, with the balance payable 14 days in advance of arrival. Where your arrival is less than 14 days from booking date the total is payable in advance. Bookings are subject to availability, and will be confirmed by the Standing Stones Trust in writing or by email.
A telephone reservation will be held for 7 working days pending receipt of deposit. On receipt of deposit the booking will be confirmed.
If you need to cancel a reservation for any reason, we must be notified by telephone immediately and cancellation must be confirmed in writing within five days.
In the event of a cancellation, we will make every effort to re-let the booking and only when this is possible, we will reimburse you in full. However, we strongly advise that you take out insurance cover to protect against additional costs.
Adverse Travel Conditions:
Travel to the island can occasionally be disrupted due to bad weather. Where there are ferry/plane disruptions due to weather conditions, technical fault/breakdown or any form of industrial action, Standing Stones Trust cannot be held responsible for non-arrival at the cottage and no refunds will be given.
Protect your holiday:
To minimise the cost and inconvenience of cancelled bookings we strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance. You may otherwise have to forfeit the full cost of your holiday in certain circumstances.
Vehicles, accessories and contents are left at their owners risk.
The Standing Stones Trust will not be held responsible for any loss or damage or any injury to persons not caused through the fault of the Trust.
The property should be left clean and tidy on departure and any damages must be reported prior to departure. Property or accommodation left in a dirty or inappropriate manner may result in an additional cleaning surcharge.
Restriction on Rental:
We reserve the right to remove person or persons from the property due to unreasonable behaviour, damage to the property or exceeding the stated occupancy. In this case refund will be at the discretion of the Standing Stones Trust.
It is possible to launch kayaks, canoes or a small boat from the shore, visitors do so at their own risk.
Standing Stones Trust cannot be held responsible for any, accident or injury guests may be involved in relating to usage of the shore area.
